Friends, whew, it has been a busy start to September. I’ve loaded all of my me-owned knitting patterns onto my Payhip shop. All 91 are up there! There are seven more backlist patterns that need production work — I’ve decided to put my Knitty patterns into my standard layout and offer them for sale for those who want them in my tidy, paper-saving format, plus there are some patterns from Interweave that I’ve neglected for a while.
That is a LOT of work, and I have to say, having “handled” close to 80 patterns this month, there are a ton of great patterns in my shop. For the most part I have to say they’re those special patterns that require focus — lots of cables and lace — that in the end reward you with heirloom-level garments. Of course there are some “easier” patterns, with lots of garter or stockinette stitch — the kinds of patterns you (or at least I) can knit while reading a book or watching tv. I like to think that there’s something in there for almost everyone and that you’ll learn a new technique or two with every one of my patterns
Now, here’s the exciting part: Today is my birthday (yay!), and I’m turning 50 (eep!), so what do you say to 50% off all my patterns in my Payhip (and Ravelry) shop? Use the code kathleen50 in either one to stock up for your Fall and Winter knitting needs.
I was going to highlight some patterns that are my favorites, but that’s like declaring a favorite child, so how about you tell me your favorite(s) in the comments below (if you’re reading this as an email in your inbox, just click the little speech bubble icon to be taken to the comments section). Consider it your birthday gift to me ;)
Happy knitting!
xxoo, Kathleen
I think that all of your patterns are pretty great, but I love teh one for my wedding sweater the most!
Happy 50th!! I met you in February when you were our designer at the South Carolina Knitting Guild's annual Knit Inn. Thank you for your birthday gift to us! Deb M's comment inspired me to buy Brassai. Now to stash dive for my daylight, midnight and fun sprinkle skeins! Enjoy your Happy You Day!
